I've done a reasonable amount of digging and such and not found anything that mentions this, so here I am.

Does anyone know anything about a mythical being that wears the night sky as a cloak?

I noticed when I Googled. I was hoping for something in mythology, rather than modern fiction.

Maybe this isn't specific enough for you but check out the goddess Nut, as well as Nyx & Erebus and their sons Hypnos & Thanatos. I don't know if they "wear the Night sky as a cloak" but they certainly rule in that realm.
