Help in my research

Post by Cerdius »

I am looking for a lead ritual of any craft in which I can boost my mental intake and cognitive abilities. I have studied and seen a number of either Unsuccessful or phony process that either do not help the user, hurt the user because he or she was neither ready or strong enough for the effects, or created some sort of parasitic relationship with the user as a trade off. I understand the brain contains natural limiters physically and spiritually. But i also understand that so does the rest of the body, and in certain cases, such as the eyes and other sensory organs, these limiters have been removed or were never there since birth. However, my research has hit a dead end when it comes to the brain as a workable element. most likely because of the risk of research in it. Are there any leads out there for further research and guidance

Meditation and visualization exercises.
You don't need to do a ritual.

That was unnecessary short even for me.
Let me elaborate.

A ritual is basically a spell on steroids. You need a certain amount of power to perform one, and if you don't have that things can go wrong. It's as simple as physics, if you attach a large battery to a small lamp, your going to blow some fuses Every ritual has the potential of going sideways, and every action has a reaction, so if you start playing with strong forces, shit will have strong consequences.

Let's take something more physical: You want to " boost your cognitive abilities", and the easiest way to do that is a small dose of cocaine. It will absolutely do the trick. BUT. There are consequences of this. Long term abuse of this method is HIGHLY unrecommended. It's also illegal, and even in small dosages it can be dangerous. But, you will get very quick results.

There are however some ways to reduce the risks. Having prior experience with the drugs obviously helps. Talking to people who have prior experience with the drug helps, and there is even some literature on the subject if you can't get in contact with real people. Working in a group has some advantages, and some disadvantages and you should consider them all beforehand.
You will need to experiment with the drug, to find just the right dosage. Meaning that you will have to train yourself and perform it a couple of time before you go all in. If you are desperately looking for a boost and you need it on the first go, your chances of succeeding is slim. You are going to have to take the drug a couple of time to see where your baseline is, before you can take the drug in such a way that will get the exact results you want.

A. If you are in physically bad shape it will hinder your performance, any heart problem or other blood pressure related diseases makes the drug even more potent, and thus more dangerous.
B. You will also need to be in good mental health. The side effects of cocaine can both enhance as well as trigger several different mental illnesses.
C. Some sort of support or lifeline like an assistant is also recommended. If nothing else someone who can call an ambulance in case shit goes horrible wrong. Make sure you have food, water and a safe space to recover in.
D. Do not have knives, guns or more drugs laying around. What seemed like a bad idea when clean, can sound like an excellent idea when high.

------

A ritual works the exact same way. You need training to perform it, you need experience, you need good physical health, you absolutely need good mental health and preferable some sort of assistance.
It is NOT, I repeat. IS NOT, a quick fix to anything. It is the end results of a long road with many pitfalls and trepidations.

HOWEVER.
There is a way to boost your mental intake and cognitive abilities without too much of a risk. And that is through meditation and visualization exercises. The drawback is that it takes time, hard work and the increase is in small dosages. It has some potential bad side effects, but these are often something you can deal with on your own. You also have a much higher level of control in case something does go bad. If you're having a bad session during meditation, you are always in control to stop it. If you have cocaine in your system and it goes bad, there is nothing you can do but hold on and hope for the best.

DO NOT, end a ritual in the middle of it. No matter how bad it goes. Because if you leave it open; it will never end.
DO NOT perform a ritual before you are absolutely certain that you can deal with whatever is about to happen.
DO NOT perform a ritual to see what happens. It should always be done under controlled circumstances, in a controlled space (not your home/room), by a person in control of themselves.

And always remember: Action - Reaction. Nothing is free.

Deconstructing consciousness (and by that I don't mean destroying it, but something like "exploratory surgery") will, in the long run, yield increased facility and agility with consciousness. I'll elaborate.

The internal dialog (be it lingual or visual or whatever) is often as deep as people go into the the inner workings of their consciousness. Generally people understand this self-communication as the throne of their mental self, or even imagine that quieting the internal dialog is the sum total of self mastery. In reality though thought occurs at an almost intimidating speed, and many thoughts occur in parallel... the internal dialog is a greatly slowed down synopsis of the highlights only.

There's 2 reasons why people focus thus. First, the human brain has evolved to interact with the environment, and our mental faculties are an outgrowth of the simplistic functions of all animals (allowing them to know what to eat, what to run away from, etc). So it is mostly focused on dealing with one over-arching problem at a time. Even though dealing with any problem will involve countless hundreds or thousands of tiny threads of thought process, even down to just the act of keeping one's balance and remembering to breath (seriously, it takes a supercomputer to even begin to give a 2 legged robot the ability to not topple over, and that's just one tiny side item in your brain's processes)... the animal brain is largely designed to focus on one thing at a time. Though the human brain is a particularly adept example of an animal brain and has much greater multitasking capacity than most. Still the tendency is to focus on one thing at a time as a matter of comfort.

Second, our abstract reasoning is informed mostly via communication and absorbing the knowledge of the billions who came before us. This occurs via language and visual input. So the abstract part of our brain gets into the habit of thinking about abstract ideas in visual and lingual formats. And these formats are greatly condensed, and very simplistically linear, in comparison to actual preconscious "raw" thought.

Imagine a room with a hundred people in it. And imagine each of those people are various bits of the myriad facets of your psyche (cartoons imagine these as angels & devils on your shoulder when you are faced with internal struggle). But due to "tradition" lets call it, you usually only see one or two of them up on a stage in the center of the room under a spotlight, hogging the mic. And of course some of them never seem to get a turn at the spotlight. But all of them are existing and cogitating even when they are not in the spotlight. And further imagine that each has access to the same library of memory, and that this library of memory is pre-loaded with a wide range of sort of 'hyperlinks' of pre-established associations and cross referencing. And further imagine that your brain (the room) is in actuality constantly thinking about dozens of things (or more) at any given second. And further imagine that this collective whole has crude access to even precognition and the capacity for thoughts to move across the brain at a speed that exceeds electrical current. And the end-user (your crudest mental self), as a default setting, is really only listening to what the one on stage with the mic is saying about cheaply made toaster ovens.
That's a not TOO horribly butchered model of the way of things I think.

Anyway, it should illustrate that what we tend to actually 'use' mentally when thinking about something, is a rather small fraction of our true capacity to cogitate.

If one were able to explore the self to a very very deep degree (through a wide variety of approaches, and a great deal of time and focus), exploring not just content or the capacity for silence, but too the very nature of thought and the layers of mind... and then were further able to strip away a variety of habits of approaching self and mind and thought... habits coming from everything from physically being an animal, to emotional kneejerk reactions, to habitual internal conflicts, to cultural influences... habits which distance our conscious awareness from the breadth and expanse of our consciousness... and were able to penetrate deeply into the realm which is considered by most to be "unconscious"... then, one could apply a surprising amount of leverage to abstract reasoning, or a surprising amount of Will to intention. Or just be told by everyone that you think too much.

None of which is particularly ritual-oriented. At least not in the candles & bathrobe sense of the term ritual.
But such a shift would have a major impact on cognitive abilities (easily measurable and verifiable). Not sure about mental intake, since you mentally intake so much more than you probably realize, but it would increase access to, and awareness of, mental intake.

None of this is related to the "we only use 10% of our brains" myth. All of the brain gets used at various points in time, even by the most uneducated savage. It's more that we generally only consciously access such a small part of the larger whole of what is going on in our mind. Personally I regard mind as something which interacts intimately with brain, but exists functionally on a level beyond the traditional 4-D dimensional model. Which alludes to still further potential for upward mobility in sentience, but I digress.

to boost your abilities you need to wear PURE SILVER. silver enchances magical abilities.
you can do rituals to give your silver special abilities.
in my necklace yellow snakes live.
the snakegod is a friend of me i also worship the snakegod.
for example i go to my altar and pick a candle and i say I SACRIFICE THIS CANDLE TO THE SNAKEGOD.
place the silver on your altar, next morning your silver has a blessing from the snakegod.

good luck

THE SNAKE GOD!

Reflected throughout the Macrocosm!
The pattern is found everywhere!

The Elements:
Propagating energetic Snakeforms/Waveforms in Space/Air!

Ripples, Waves, and Foam Patterns twisting and turning in the Waters!

Snakeforms in Fire and Smoke!

And last but not least! The Slithering Snakes about the Earth!

Reflections of this magnitude convey significance!

Glory to the Snake God!(but Ra first!)
