It goes for everything within the spiritual world, just because you attempt to call something doesn't mean they must obey. Having legitimate reasons and not just personal curiosity would help.

No idea, I've googled Reiki in the past and have seen dozens of different variations. I guess the traditional version gets a little boring for most people.
