Well, celebrations in the sun plus some impromptu readings for random folk and all I have to show for it is severe sunburn ( I look like i slept face first on a griddle) and some dehydration. Oh and there may have been some ale involved.

Anybody else find they are sometimes better at reading for people after a tipple or ten?

I'm going to be heavily into the H2O for a wee while, well until tomorrow anyway as there may be a BBQ and wherever there are BBQ's there are inevitably drinks and malarkey. But after that I'm going to really really detox I think.......apart from the wine obviously, that's one of my five a day.

After some red wine (or more then just "some") I even more appreciate the gift of clear speech that so many seem to loose after reaching similar circumstances and worse.

And as it was asked (quite a long time ago) in this thread for the favourite of this awful and yet enjoyable (at the moment) neurotoxin, I stand tall with the red fermented grape juice and the fermented honey wine, Met being the better one of the two in my not so sober eyes. Matching good with some sweet cake, a nice film, a woman or all three at once. Though I have not tried the last one yet...

I drink alcohol.
Beers, wine, red white, then vodka, jack then when wasted it, a good serbian brandy schnaps of suspicious qualities.
I never puke on parties like that. Have stomach juices that digest alcohol.
I always get poisoned on parties get bit 'zombified' and that's it. Lawl. Not ever dizzy in the morning and drunkness goes away fast. Love good apple schnapss and plum. Fruit brandies of all sorts. [grin] [twisted]

I love this thread! I think I am eligible to write being on my second glass of wine. I think there should be a troll pit on Facebook for all the drunken to post there shenanigans without over flooding my news feed!

What kind of self control I had to pull up right now, it is insane. I drank a bit of beer, and proceeded to pleasure myself with homemade walnut brandy. Whole house is at sleep, it is very late in their perception right now. When I'm drunk I tend to be energetic and in good fashion, so my emotions manifest really loud. And I come across this:
